Road surfacing deterioration - skid risk

Reported via desktop in the Other public road issue category by john whitby at 09:22, Wednesday 16 June 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2795360.

The newly replaced road surfacing is now damaged by the sun. the grip surfacing has gone and the bitumen is showing through in large quantities where vehicles pass. Adjacent to the junction with Romany Gardens and the Pedestrian crossing there is very little grip surfacing. in the wet this will be a major skid risk and potentially cause serious accident and injury, especially as it is on the approach to the pedestrian crossing and near to 2 schools
