Ongoing flooding and incursion of water onto drive

Reported via desktop in the Flooded road category anonymously at 15:14, Wed 19 May 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2736291.

Outside 31 Valence Road is a private block-paved drive which stops at the tarmac public path which then goes down a dropped curve onto the road, on a slight bend. The way the tarmac on road has been shaped to incline on this bed means that during periods of heavier rain the water gathers at the dropped kerb outside 31 Valence Road until flooding occurs, then water gradually creeps across the public pathway and onto the block-paved private drive way of 31 Valence Road. The owner lives alone, is elderly and vulnerable and cannot report this issue herself. Jenny Morgan at Peterborough City Council is reporting this problem on the client's behalf.
