Tree is overhanging my garden at the back by about 2/3rds of my garden. Roots are overtaking the garden snd shoots are being put up in the lawn and now breaking up my oath and not too far off my patio. Needs cutting back or removing as this is an ongoing issue but now my i pop at his breaking up i am not happy to let it continue.

  • Works recommended

    Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.

    A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.

    Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
