Trees on Burton Street?

Reported via desktop in the Request for tree to be planted category anonymously at 00:28, Sun 11 April 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2664510.

Hi, Could you please look into planting trees along Burton Street? It would be really great for this street to become a tree-lined street.

Some blossom trees would be a brilliant addition brilliant!

  • Our street tree planting locations are wholly reliant upon having the appropriate infrastructure in place to plant for example tree pits. Along Burton Street we are not aware of any redundant tree pits and so any new planting opportunities would have to be in conjunction with new investment in the highways infrastructure.

This does not sit with Aragon and we cannot comment on the feasibility of this as it would involve fairly significant investment but we will ensure your request and views are forwarded to PCC Highways for their review.
