Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2655800.
Very tall trees in Dogsthorpe Cemetary, at the back of my garden, are very dangerous and need cutting back. Have you employed a man callled Thomas to do this work. Do not have his surname, just mobile number and card. I wish to check him out.

Aragon manage the City Council's tree stock in line with the formally adopted Trees and Woodlands Strategy.
In line with the above, all trees are inspected every 3 years and at that point if any health and safety issues are picked up, works are instructed.
The trees in the cemetery have all been surveyed within the last 12 months and any required works are within the system ready to be undertaken. There is no arboricultural justification to carry out any works at this time however the resident does have the right to prune to the boundary but we highly recommend that the services of a fully qualified and insured Tree Surgeon are used also you will need to check whether the tree has a TPO (Tree Preservation Order) or is in a Conservation Area where any works would need approval, this can be checked with Peterborough City Council Planning Dept. .
Aragon Direct Sevices do not employ anybody called Thomas within the Tree Services team so we cannot assist with this. Equally, we do not have business cards.
State changed to: No further action
