Pot holes and road damage
Reported via desktop in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 13:01, Mon 29 March 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2640588.
The road up and down The Village in Orton Longueville is in an unacceptable state of repair. I have reported this on several occasions but see that you are addressing potholes on a 'one by one' basis. This seems like a very inefficient way of managing the issue - fix per pot hole and I would like to request that a thorough assessment is done up and down the village road. There are multiple potholes and damage all the way up and down the road, from the damage at the traffic lights up to Moggswell Lane. For example, there are potholes at the entrance to Longwater, outside the Orton Hall Hotel and at the sides of the road up and down. Please undertake an end to end assessment and repair ALL potholes and road damage, not just those specifically reported. Otherwise, I will be typing a lot of different reports when you can come and look at the overall situation in the same amount of time. The road has now been unacceptable for some time and really needs the whole area to be resurfaced.
