Parking outside school

Reported via mobile in the Car parking category anonymously at 18:01, Thursday 25 March 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2633907.

Outside Paston ridings school there are double yellow lines, however people keep parking on the path to drop or pick children up. They may not be there for long but still long enough for lots of children and parents to have to walk on the road and potentially be injured by passing vehicles. This includes taxi drivers, it is making it dangerous for parents and children alike having to walk on the road as there is cars parked on the pavement. Alternatively parents are having to walk through the mud with prams and kids which is really not on as there is a footpath there being used as a car park even though there are double yellow lines to prevent this but nothing is enforced.
