Bushes Growing In Verge

The bushes on council land have become overgrown and need cutting back, there are also a number of trees along the road which are growing into overhead cables.

  • A Tree Surveyor has inspected and found that the clearances are currently in line with statute highways requirements.

    The hedge and trees are all on a rolling 3 year inspection program so at the point where the highway is obscured, works would be instructed

    We recommend that you contact BT or the relevant Untility Company as they have a Statutory Undertaking as such this enables them to carry out Arboricultural works when it affects their lines or equipment
