Road gulley needs clearing
Reported via desktop in the Other public drainage issue category anonymously at 11:23, Friday 12 March 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council 35 minutes later. Council ref: 2603512.
The road gulley cleaning vehicle was round Carradale this morning. Made their way in doing gulley along “ main” stretch. On way back out, missed our little close, and the next one. Popped out to speak to operative who muttered something about cars in the way ( seems to be a standard excuse across Lincolnshire too). I pointed out there were no cars in the way, access was clear as they came in and is still clear now. He said he would come back on way out. I observed the vehicle drove back onto Brimbles Way ten minutes later not having returned to attend to gulley as politely requested.
Thanks for making your report.

I can confirm we have had a word with our Drainage Contractors regarding this matter. Additionally a Drainage Engineer has been on site and inspected and photographed the gullies outside number 11 and 12 Carradale and also outside 3 and 4 Carradale, all gullies are free from detritus and water levels well down in the pot, therefore the risk of any surface water flooding is minimal.
State changed to: No further action
