Hedge causing footpath to be too narrow for use

Reported via mobile in the Public footpath or cyclepath category anonymously at 10:31, Tuesday 9 March 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2596432.

The hedge on the footpath between dickens street and star road has been overgrown for years, has recently been cut back in height but is still encroaching onto the footpath and making it too narrow for prams or more than one person to walk along, which forces pedestrians and walkers with prams into the cycle path. This is especially problematic as the path is used by families accessing the children’s group at the community centre. The hedge is also full of litter and flytipping and is a complete eyesore for the area.
