The road on a regular basis and damaged the road
Reported via desktop in the Flooded road category by Parish Council at 15:50, Mon 1 March 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2579891.
This road floods on a regular basis not just when there is a lot of rain. You have closed this out saying it was due to the unprecedented amount of rain. This is not the case - this road is always flooded when it rains and it doesn't need to be the level we have seen recently. The road has now been damaged by the flooding. This needs to be resolved as water flows off the private land into the drain and the drain cannot cope.

We have since returned to this location the pipe from the manhole outside Foresters House down to the manhole in the junction of Church Walk (adjacent Hour House) is a private pipe taken private water only, this said as a gesture of goodwill and without prejudice we have high pressure jetted this pipeline and also mechanically root cut some fibrous roots out, this has left the water free flowing. This is only a small 6 inch pipe and the amount of ground water entering the system may have been a great velocity and litres per second than that which the pipe could convey, hopefully this jet cleanse and root removal will have helped matters
State changed to: No further action
