River Burst Banks
Reported via mobile in the Parks/landscapes category anonymously at 22:20, Sunday 28 February 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2578098.
The river has burst its banks and the footpath to get to Water Newton Mill is impassible unless you’re willing to get wet in the process.
It’s also flooding the field making it very wet!
This land is maintained by Nene Park Trust, they are aware that the Environment Agency's main river (nene) has an eroded bank and they had works programmed in for January 2021 to rectify, i can only assume this has been put back due to the wet weather/saturated ground, you can contact them on 01733 234193 for further and updated information.
State changed to: not the council's responsibility
