Pothole and loose chippings

Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 14:14, Wednesday 24 February 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council 35 minutes later. Council ref: 2569413.

The council have temporarily fixed pot holders on Coniston Road in Gunthorpe. However, on leaving Campbell Drive on Friday 19th February and turning onto Coniston Road some of the loose chippings flew at our windscreen and caused a crack. There wasn’t any signs warning us of loose chippings until you get round the corner. We were unaware that they had fixed the potholes as that was the first time we left the street that day and we didn’t see any work taking place. We are really annoyed by this as it was a new car and on the first day the windscreen is cracked. It is also very dangerous along Coniston Road with potholes that haven’t been filled in and with all the loose chippings that have been left on the road.
