High trees blocking light

Trees behind 93 Welland Road are blocking out light. I wonder if they can be reduced by half in height. It would be best to do it now before the birds start nesting. The cannot be removed completeley because they have had an effect on my fence that would mean the fence would fall down if trees completely removed. They do look nice but are just a bit too high and blocking the light/sun from garden. So some reduction would be much appreciated. Thankyou - there is also a lot of rubbish here I have tried to clear some of it but too much to clear. Thankyou.
