This has been inspected and all system (Gullies and ditch outlet) were free from obstructions, the outlet pipe from this ditch is a 100mm diameter perforated pipe and simply could not keep up with continuous volume of water flowing into it from the ditch, along with ground water possibly entering the pipe via the perforations due to ground saturation, the system simply was overwhelmed, something we have experienced to the Anglian Water surface water sewers that each capacity and manholes surcharged during this same wet winter.
We will continue to monitor and await ground conditions to dry up somewhat.
State changed to: No further action
