Tree damaging wall and making gates drop

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2539864.
Hi. A tree on the ransom strip on Kirkwood Close behind 2 Thorpe Lea Road is leaning on my wall (back boundary of 4 Thorpe Lea Road). This has damaged my gates, making them unusable as they now do not open or close. My neighbours at number 2 TLR do not own the piece of land behind their house, which also has a couple of protected trees on it (although I do not believe this to be one of them). Would it be possible to do something about this before my wall is pushed over please? I would like to start using this to park my car in my garden. I didn't realise this was the case (I just thought the gates were rubbish!) until it was pointed out to me by a contractor some months ago! It has certainly been an issue for a few years now (but I didn't realise I could report so easily online). Many thanks
