Splashback from downpipe

Reported via desktop in the Blocked drainage gully category anonymously at 09:25, Monday 8 February 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2532776.

I have had to have some work done to serious damp issues to the front of my house. My builder suggested that some of the problem is caused by splashback from my drainpipe splashing on the pavement and back on to the house bricks. He wondered if there was the possibility of having the drainpipe submerged into a drain channel under the pavement so it goes directly into the drain in the road. Any help gratefully received.
