Pot holes in road surface/Public Right of Way
Reported via desktop in the Pothole category by Stephen Hopper at 14:00, Fri 5 February 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2527190.
The entrance to Grove Lane incorporates a section of roadway/Public Right of Way prior ( the length of the yellow parking restriction markings) to the commencement of the Private Road named Grove Lane. The road surface is in a poor condition with numerous pot holes. The potholes are of a depth enabling pedestrians/cyclists to stumble/fall/twist their ankle etc. The roadway was inspected in March 1999 by a Highways Surveyor from Skanska who stated at that time that the road surface required repair. We the residents were at that time expecting the work to be carried out in the 1999 financial year. This work was not implemented.
