Excess gravel and missing road markings Peakirk Rd

Reported via desktop in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 17:24, Wednesday 27 January 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2505339.

About 4 months ago the road from here through Peakirk up to the edge of Glinton was resurfaced with tar and surface gritting. This was left with excess grit along the centre of each lane, at the edge of the road and also onto the pavements in some areas. This has left the surface slippery to drive on with the continued risk of gravel being thrown up. The pavements in some parts are also a slip hazard. I understood that this should have been swept away once a suitable time had passed to allow the surface grit to be bedded in. At the point marked a '30' (mph) sign on the road has not been replaced. A paint mark shows where it should be. Also the road border line has not been replaced here. I did file a report on this on 11th December but despite promises nothing has been done. Please arrange to have the whole new stretch of road surfacing swept clean as should have been done months ago and the missing markings replaced. Thank you.
