Grit bins needed throughout Francis Gardens

Reported via desktop in the Request gritting action category anonymously at 16:55, Tuesday 26 January 2021

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2503073.

Due to Francis Gardens being a no-thru route there is a substantial lack of traffic, as such the build up of snow and ice in the area poses a risk to both vehicles and pedestrians alike.

With the road being on a slight incline it takes one vehicle with no enough grip on their tyres to lose control and either strike a vehicle, house or worst case scenario - a pedestrian.

There is one grit box within the entire road located on private property on the left hand bend near Anthony Close, please look into placing at least three more on the straight road between Fulbridge Rd & Robert Avenue and the two straights between No' 42-60 & No' 99-125 to ensure both the road and paths can be gritted in adverse weather conditions.
