The light has been damaged and is leaning badly
Reported via desktop in the Column/lantern damaged/leaning category anonymously at 17:07, Monday 25 January 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2500890.
The light was damaged yesterday afternoon in a road traffic accident when a Land Rover discovery towing an Ifor Williams trailer jackknifed on the bend an hit the lamp post. The lamppost is now leaning at an acute angle but I have said that it’s not an immediate risk as it is not over sailing the highway*. The column appears to have been dislodged from its seating.
* Please note that I have said that it is not at immediate risk as as a result of how the form is framed but candidly that is for PCC to determine .
Please also note that I have said that the lamppost PCCC08 is marked on the plan. It is but it is actually located on the south side of the road adjacent to the access to the electricity substation.
