Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2497718.

This has recently been resurfaced and there have been issues with loose chippings being thrown onto cars and pavement. The coins are now loose again and the road is down to the original surface. The problem exists in patches along the whole length of Hallfields Lane.

  • Thank you for your email regarding Hallfields Lane. We are aware of the situation and have arranged for another sweep. Unfortunately there appears to be a problem with the material and the contractor have confirmed they will be carrying out remedial works as soon as the weather is a suitable temperature for laying.

For now we are monitoring all of the sites on a weekly basis and will sweep the road and the footpaths when determined necessary.

    State changed to: Internal referral
