Planting a new tree

A tree was recently cut on Alexandra Road between Waterloo Road and Oxford Road (opposite no. 45). Can you please advise of a date when a new tree will be planted there.

  • Our planting season runs from the 1st August to the 31st July the following year with trees being planted during the winter of that year.

    As this tree was felled in the September 2020 we will aim to replant this tree in the winter of 2021/2022. Sometimes it may not be possible to replant in exactly the same location as before due to underground utilities or problems such as concrete in the tree pits which may prevent us being able to replant in an existing tree pit. In which case we will seek to find a suitable location in the local vacinity typically in the same Ward.
