2 Drains here continuously blocked
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drainage gully category anonymously at 15:29, Thursday 14 January 2021
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2478407.
This is a continuous and repeated problem. In this area for at least the last 12 years, the drains block and cause flooding across the roadway. Although they are cleared once reported, the block again within a month or so. They are not fully blocked, and the excess water will eventually (4 to 7 days) seep away if its dry. With continuous or repeated moderate rain, they remain flooded causing water to be up to half-way across the road. 2 weeks or so back, the overspill ran into the front of our property and flooded the driveway completely, the garage partially, and also overspilled into the field adjacent. Can you please clear the drainage pipes/slipway to allow the water to drain.
Thanks for making your report.
It will be passed on to the relevant department. We will endeavour to provide you with an update within 10 working days.

The Kerb Offlet drainage kerbs have been cleansed on 15th January 2021, they do block easily and its just a trowel full of silt at the mouth entrance causing this, remove this and the water will disperse.
State changed to: No further action
