Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2463345.
There is a crane involved in the construction of the Fletton Quays project that has been unlit ever since it got there, and another one that spent a time lit half way up but not at the top (which is almost certainly even more dangerous). The crane in the centre of town at Wentworth Street has also occasionally been unlit. I've tried reporting this to the HSE but they don't have a "form" for a concerned member of the public to use, and that was after I tried reporting it to Peterborough City Council, who told me "it's nothing to do with us" (apparently someone else grants planning permission?); as we live nearby in an area that suffers from regular sustained low-level overflights of the police helicopter as well as the air-ambulance and others, together with light aircraft, the occasional hot-air balloon and even the Battle of Britain flight reliving their glory days, we're hoping this danger is SOMEONE'S responsibility before there is a serious accident!
