Reported via desktop in the Car parking category anonymously at 11:37, Tue 22 December 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2443122.
House owners have been allocated spaces here, yet there are abandoned vehicles and vans/cars parked here by people who do not live in the street. I know this isn't council property, but the impact is that cars have to park on the roads because their allocated spaces have been used and this DOES cause a problem on council land because people have to park on a small road instead and emergency services, waste lorries, delivery vehicles etc are unable to get through.
Thanks for making your report
Vehicles causing an obstruction is not something Peterborough City Council can deal with. This becomes the responsibility of the police as they have enforcement powers to move the vehicles where Peterborough City Council don't. Our parking enforcement team can only assist if vehicles are breaching parking restrictions.
Please report this incident to the police on their non emergency number 101 or on their website here: https://www.cambs.police.uk/ report/ Report
State changed to: not the council's responsibility
