Notices on windscreen

Reported via desktop in the Public right of way - problem with access or damage category anonymously at 12:43, Wed 16 December 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2434713.

Our company is based in Vicarage Farm Rd. About 18 months ago we made comments during consultation regarding the suggesting yellow lines being put end to end. It was then amended to reflect the local need for road parking due to some of the large vehicle movements in the local businesses and it not being safe for visiting public to park within the compounds. Yesterday an unsolicited letter was left on one of the company vehicles expressing the cul-de-sac part of Vicarage Farm Road leading to Aldritch House was now in private ownership and gates were being put across that part of the highway. Firstly, are you able to shed any light on this matter ? Secondly, if there is any truth in this, where is the consultation with local businesses being managed and what is the appeals window. Finally, who would be the point of contact ?

I accept this may not be in your remit but if I can have directional pointers it would be appreciated.
