Faded road markings

Reported via mobile in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 13:47, Sat 12 December 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2428871.

I previously reported the faded road markings coming out of maskew avenue reference 2370598 . I received an update saying this matter was fixed even though it maybe a temporary fix.

The road markings have not been redone, there continues to be no lanes where there should be 3.

The temporary fix appears to be a sign saying “no road markings” facing in the wrong direction. So drivers will be notified there are no lanes if they look in their review mirror once they have already got to the roundabout and it’s too late.

I’ve seen lots of near misses on this roundabout as people are using the wrong lanes.
