Good afternoon,I would like to complain about the appalling state of the Gunthorpe Ridings road in Gunthorpe , the road was "re dressed in the summer " but was only swept once a couple of weeks later improving the situation but still left large quantities of loose chipping behind at that point..couple of months and wet and cold weather later the road is in an appalling state it is like driving on a gravel road not a main highway ! the loose chipping are flying up causing damage to the car ,i have got loose chipping behind the grill and even had them fly up and land on the bonnet when driving along , to top it off while out taking the pictures of the road and some videos so you can here the chipping under the car tyres a stone was flicked up of a car and actually hit me in the face ! I couldn't believe it you couldn't write that nobody would believe you .This surface dressing has been poor since it went down I suspect 60-70 % of it is loose across the surface and urgently need a road sweep to remove this excess ,I dread to think of the damage this is doing to peoples cars with paint chips radiator damage etc and loose chipping can't be safe hence the skid signs and speed restrictions placed on the road after it has been put down .I fail to see how this can be classed as road improvement if anything it is a hazard.
