Overgrown bushes at pedestrian public footpath

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown trees category anonymously at 08:39, Fri 13 November 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2385162.

There is a pedestrian public footpath which leads from Peterhead Close, Orton Southgate over the Orton Parkway to Orton Brimbles. At the Peterhead close end the brushes are extremely over grown and dangerous to any passer-by. Thorns with very sharpe spikes are over hanging the footpath and pedestrian have to take evasive action to avoid them. Please can they be cut back. I appreciate the inside element of the bushes is the responsibility of the residents but the outside is the councils. It is very dangerous, lots of children use this route to walk to school etc.
