Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2370436.
Cllr Chris Harper has requested Cyclist dismount signs to be erected in Stanground South Ward. After a recent incident involving a cyclist knocking over a child along a passageway. He has noted the following locations in Particular: The ones where we have most problems is those that have a kink in them but this particular nasty incident was in the passageway between Rayner Avenue & Oakdale Avenue.
The passageway between Mace Road and Mina Close has an blind elbow and has also seen many near misses with elderly residents.
We also have them at Harlton Close to Newborn Close which has a blind corner at the end and has seen many near misses.
Ellwood Avenue and Scott Close which has not been too bad to be fair and
Caldbeck Close to Coneygree Road which again has not been a major problem so far.
