40 mph When entering Mkt Deeping over bridge
Reported via desktop in the Traffic sign category anonymously at 14:59, Thu 15 October 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2342488.
40mph (painted on road) is just a few yards before the bridge (blind corner) into middle of the village. Vehicles mostly exceed 40 Until reaching roundabout. Vehicles then race up church Street often exceeding 30mph. 30mph should surely be clear WELL BEFORE the blind corner/ bridge over river Welland.
Thanks for making your report.

Sorry for the late reply, we have had admin issues. There are several repeater signs and road marking indicating 40mph on Lincoln Road approaching the bridge and roundabout with Church Street. Where there road becomes 30mph our boundary finishes. If there is an issue with speeding beyond this point then it needs raising with Lincolnshire Council.
State changed to: No further action
