There are trees at the back of my Garden blocking
Reported via desktop in the Tree blocking daylight category anonymously at 11:51, Wednesday 14 October 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2340372.
We have extremely large trees on the other side of my fence, that block all the daylight coming into my house, (kitchen/front room). These trees are on the other side of my fence next to the public footpath. I have put up with the trees for the past 7 years, and complained once. But now i am worried that they are tilting over my house/conservatory and will do a lot of damage. I need these trees to be cut back or removed as soon as possible.

Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.
A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.
Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
