Speeding prevention
Reported via desktop in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 16:48, Sat 10 October 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2334957.
Russell Hill, Thornhaugh which stretches from the A1 to the A47 is a 20mph limit within the village and then 40mph from just outside the village to the A47. There is very frequent speeding through a small village and very narrow roads, particularly when this is being used as a "rat run" to and from the A1 and A47. We would urgently request illuminated speed limit signs if possible, if not then at least SLOW DOWN markings on the road surface where the speed limits begin.
