Due to a large development at the bottom of Jubile
Reported in the Other public road issue category anonymously at 20:08, Thursday 24 September 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2310666.
There has been 8 houses built at the bottom of this street in the past 6 months. Because of 40 ton lorries taking away soli and delivering gravel and unloading heavy equipment at the side of the road there is now serious drains sinking across the road and two sinking tracks up each side of the road with the weight of these lorries. Is this developer going to put all this damage right as the site is almost complete. We tried to tell the planning meeting that this development was too big for this street but they took no notice and just listened to this developers side kicks and passed it. There is one very bad dip at the top of this road opposite Cottons car park which is causing damage to cars suspensions etc, The road side kerb outside my house no 42 & no 44 is now filling up with water when ever it rains . Three quarters of the footpath kerb is now above the road surface level . For months heavy equipment has been loaded and unloaded here which has resulted in all the sides of the road surface crumbling.
