Bridge cable exposed

Reported in the Damaged structure category anonymously at 16:27, Tuesday 22 September 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2307079.

Turn right round the lake at Ferry Meadows, near the visitor centre and keep going round, where there is a cut through and an instant right as you go over a small bridge (Ham Bridge), The fist bridge can be driven over, bear to the right there is another footbridge (Bluebell Suspension Bridge) where the cables under the bridge that are exposed. In line with the handrail there is approx. 1 meter of cable that needs re-wrapping, as this is at risk of going rusty very quickly and snapping as a result, and will be expensive to replace. You may need to call for access.
