Surface water from road floods driveway.
Reported in the Other public drainage issue category anonymously at 16:59, Sunday 20 September 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2303646.
For at least 10 years, every time it rained road surface water has run over the low drop kerb and flooded our driveway. Now the floodwater takes hours to drain away at a depth of 2 - 3 inches once it stops raining. We are concerned that the drains will be damaged at the top of our driveway? We are concerned that the amount of surface water coming down could damage our property.

After a site meeting with Highways it was agreed some alterations to the kerb line and part footpath resurfacing would take place in order to try and reduce the flow of water over the path. The drainage kerb offlet has also been cleansed.
