The tree roots are damaging the road as shown in photos. The road is becoming cracked, bumpy and has developed depression where water collects after rain which will further damage the road. I have contacted multiple times through FixMyStreet. I have had inspection and re inspection after the email below and was assured action but nothing has been done to date. Please see below

I am writing in relation to above referenced report of tree roots damaging the road which was made on 29th April. Today I received the email below which suggests that the matter has been closed without further action. Can you kindly elaborate or correct me if I am mistaken as the damage is clearly visible and the initial update suggested that the damage would be repaired and I assumed that the tree would have to be cut.
