This vehicle is obstructing the pavement

Reported in the Car parking category anonymously at 14:17, Monday 7 September 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2282636.

This transporter van has been left parked like this since Friday 21st August. This is on Fountains Place on the cul de sac with houses addressed 120 - 140. It covers almost the whole pavement, and this street has sufficient parking areas to avoid having to park like this which are not being utilised. This part of the estate is accessed by many who are going into the village or walking their kids to school as there is a footpath at the bottom of the cup de sac. They have had to walk on the gravel and duck to avoid tree branches because of this obstruction. Other vans have since also parked along this van, right where the junction of the road is, which makes it very tricky seeing down the road for oncoming traffic. The council suggested I report this to you for remedial action. Please assist.
