Area of Fly-tipping
Reported in the Public footpath or cyclepath category anonymously at 10:43, Fri 4 September 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council 3 days, 23 hours, 30 minutes later. Council ref: 2278036.
This is a constant problem on our street, it has been an area of fly-tipping for a good few years now and has been reported to our MP, PCC, Councillors etc with no solution. The problem is the absentee landlord - doesn't care or there are no real consequences in place to deter this practice. Our area is in the registered landlord system so can the Landlord be contacted to put a permanent solution in place to keep our street clean and safe to walk in. Also the overgrown bushes from the same premises are now blocking the pavement and it is now a requirement to go on the roadway to avoid. This presents another danger to pedestrians as our street is used as a racetrack to avoid the traffic lights on Eastfield Road.
