3 trees down acacia avenue that have broken
Reported in the Fallen tree category anonymously at 21:16, Tuesday 25 August 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2263540.
There are 3 trees down acacia avenue which have broken. This is a common issue with these so called trees, there more like bushes. These trees are poor. There used to be nice trees lining the street, but were replaced by these terrible bush like things. You removed several earlier in the year for the same reason. These have never been replaced, when, if might we get proper trees replanted.

Thanks for your enquiry regarding a Council owned tree.
A qualified tree surveyor has assessed your request and following a site visit has recommended works. On completion of the works you may feel the task undertaken may not fully address the issue raised. Aragon Direct Services employ qualified tree surveyors to undertake the inspections and all works recommended are in accordance within the guidance contained within the Peterborough Tree & Woodland Strategy 2018-2028.
Continued management of all our trees forms an integral part of this strategy. All Council owned trees are surveyed by a qualified surveyor for safety every one-to-five years, depending on how much the area surrounding them is used. Where inspection identifies maintenance work it is scheduled in accordingly with safety issues forming the highest priority.
