Road today and last week under heavy rain flooded
Reported in the Blocked drainage gully category anonymously at 13:55, Tue 25 August 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council 5 minutes later. Council ref: 2262630.
This problem has happened twice in the past two weeks, was reported last week but no one has contacted me. The two gullies opposite my rear entrance have never been connected to the main drains and in heavy rain, flood my rear property and cause aquaplaning risk to drivers. It also impedes pedestrian access to the footpath. This problem has been evident since the council took the road over from Persimmon Homes. If an inspector wishes to contact me, I have video evidence showing the water spray from vehicles. Many thanks and regards, Steve Goodwin

This system was fully investigated , this highlighted that the downstream Anglian Water Backdrop Manhole was full of stone and general detritus, this was removed while we were on site and the gullies cleansed and laterals high pressure jetted, all gullies were taking water and free flowing.
State changed to: Fixed
