Flood Risk - Fallen Branch Paston Brook
Reported in the Fallen branch category anonymously at 11:49, Tue 25 August 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2262360.
Good morning
Our Environment Agency field operatives have removed the fallen branch from the watercourse reducing the flood risk from this blockage.
The branch has come from a PCC Weeping Willow and it looks like others could fall at any time.
The timber and other branches that have fallen in that area need to be removed from site asap (end of the week at the latest) to reduce the risk of them causing a blockage to the channel again.
The attached photos show a before and after of the fallen branch and debris from other historic branches that need to be removed.
