Sent to Peterborough City Council 4 minutes later. Council ref: 22617.
Our road is used every school day by students biking or walking to Glinton College. Some time ago gulleys were cut into the verges to drain of excess water but this has been abandoned these past years. Now if we get a really wet period the students have to walk and cycle through huge puddles arriving at school both wet and dirty. If these gulleys could be revived again on an anual basis I am sure the parents would be well pleased as would the residents of Foxcovert Road including me.
Thanks for your help. Maybe one day we will get a result.

I guess I will have to send my request directly to Peakirk Parish Council but don't hold my breath for a positive result.

Cllr Harrington has promised to deal with the problem before the start of the Autumn term. Thanks
