Continuous flooding for years
Reported in the Flooded road category anonymously at 12:02, Mon 17 August 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2249369.
Every time it rains the road floods, from 10 to 32 Ayres Drive. Been doing it for many years, I have lived here 32 years and it’s getting worse each year. Anglian water came today and said the problem is that there are not enough drains outside these houses (only one). Have been told this before by Anglian Water. I have photos and video footage. The water goes through our gardens in torrents down to South Street, where properties also get flooded. Something desperately needs to be done before we have the road resurfaced in September. The hairdressers in South Street was flooded yesterday due to the problem stemming from our street Ayres Drive. Thank you for your time.
