Dangerous parking near junctions

Reported in the Public right of way - problem with access or damage category anonymously at 04:03, Sunday 16 August 2020

Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2247319.

An extremely large AASP flatbed lorry which is capable of holding 2 cars and an Abel and Cole grocery van both park together over the eldern junction they are parked there all week and all weekend when not working. a fire engine would not be able to turn into that rd. This is very dangerous illegal parking that has been going on for at least 6 months.

All the cars turning into the junction on Eldern as well as long as other points alongside the route from the main road regularly have to cut into the wrong side of the road.

There are further issues with cars parked near the junction off the main road turning from the Orton parkway into the eldern turning as they are parking outside their back gates which is also dangerous as you have to drive on the wrong side of the road to get round the parked cars to get to the junction to turn onto the main rd. If timing was wrong for a car coming off the main road this could cause a nasty accident. My partner has had 4 near misses from this and the eldern junction pinpointed on the map. this has been going on for well for a year now. It urgently needs addressing before someone has a horrible accident.
