3 Trees causing damage in Hyholmes 101/102
Reported in the Tree is considered to be causing damage category anonymously at 14:55, Tue 11 August 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2240455.
3 trees, now over 20 feet in height, planted on council land between our garden and road, are causing damage & blocking views. There is a long crack down the road itself, gradually getting bigger (see photo). Both the path and the council part of our drive are severely cracked. Our own brick-laid drive has subsided for a second time despite being laid and then repaired by a professional firm (Cambridgeshire Driveways). Our lawn is suffering from no moisture (not just the dry summer - bad in winter) and the turf is now ruined. The trees are also now blocking light from our front windows. I have several more photos including the trees themselves - two of them need major reduction in height and there are 2 very close together and the larger one could do with removing altogether.
