Overhanging and Leaning Tree
Reported in the Overhanging Trees category anonymously at 11:42, Tue 11 August 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2240099.
We have increasing problems with the tree outside our home, number 23. This tree is incredibly tall, there are many overhanging branches into our garden and our gutters needed to be cleaned earlier this year because of debris. The tree itself is uprooting the pavement which is causing a pedestrian hazard. A gentleman from the tree department came out this morning and said he would ask for a second opinion. We cannot emphasis how urgent this is. The tree is increasingly hazardous. We had a previous incident, with a previous tree at the same location, years ago when we asked for help, which was ignored. A branch fell off this tree onto a residents car, a claim was made against the council and that particular tree was removed. This tree now, was its replacement. We would ask that you pursue this with utmost urgency. Thank you.
