Tree is touching the overhead telephone cables.
Reported in the Tree touching overhead cables category anonymously at 11:33, Tue 11 August 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2240069.
We have reported this already but we cannot exaggerate the urgency of the problem. The tree is incredibly tall and is now touching the overhead telephone cables. A gentleman from the tree department called this morning and said if there was a problem with the cables it is the responsibility of the telecommunication company. BUT it is the tree that is causing a problem!!

Thank you for your enquiry regarding the tree outside your property. Unfortunately, at the present time there are no identifiable arboricultural reasons to justify carrying out any works.
We recommend that you contact BT as they have a Statutory Undertaking as such this enables them to carry out Arboricultural works when it affects their lines or equipment.
State changed to: No further action
