Overhanging gardens
Reported in the Low branches category anonymously at 15:18, Mon 10 August 2020
Sent to Peterborough City Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 2238909.
I have noticed one of your signs up on a tree (Hazel Croft Werrington) i have a few queries and I have attached some pictures. The trees back on to my garden and are becoming a nuisance, the branches are hanging low in my garden one is actually very close to my conservatory, my daughter can’t use her trampoline as much as she likes as every time she does she gets what looks like a crab apple hit her on the head. The leaves etc are blocking my guttering having to constantly clean it out which is a inconvenience having to pay someone to come out and do it. So I have noticed you are taking a tree out from that area but really what needs to happen is someone needs to come out and take a look from my garden at how bad it is and cut the branches back. Please advise me if this can be arranged for someone to come and take a look.

The recent survey of the trees behind your property did identify the issue of how close the trees are to the building and garden.
One tree was identified to be removed and the other crab apple to the side of the garden has also had work ordered to prune back branches growing towards your property and overhanging the fence. The work is currently in the process of being issued to our contractors but should be carried out in the coming months.
State changed to: No further action
